education & training
WACHA's training and education services are second to none. We offer a variety of programs and formats, covering a wide array of topics and learning styles. WACHA requires that staff hold the AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) certification before conducting training classes to ensure that you are provided with the most accurate information possible. WACHA certification and training programs are a great compliment to your in-house training and career development programs.
WACHA, NACHA and the other regional payments associations have designed a logo to identify high-quality payments-related educational offerings. The registered logo consists of a mortarboard with a combination dollar sign and lightning bolt as the tassel. The image is encircled with the phrase "Excellence in Payment Systems Education".
The combination of the mortarboard, dollar sign and lightning bolt is intended to convey that the educational offerings are of high quality, related to payments and are primarily electronic in content. "The logo will assure that the educational courses, sessions and publications being offered are of the highest quality and designed to meet the needs of the participants in payment systems." said Mary Gilmeister, WACHA president. Mary is also Chair of the Education Committee for the Payments Leadership Forum. The education committee will administer use of the logo and develop criteria to identify educational material that qualify to use the logo.
Payments system participants should look for the logo as an assurance that the training or publication meets standards established by the Payments Leadership Forum Education Committee. The education logo appears on all seminar and conference brochures and publications from regional payments associations as well as on the Payments Academy On-Line, the web-based education and training resource.
