PacPay and WACHA Announce the Payments Institute Scholarship Winner at the Annual Meeting

Powered by a diverse faculty of leading industry experts who capitalize on adult education techniques, you will master complex concepts and obtain insights and tools to apply them to your workplace. WACHA is pleased to offer a scholarship to this great event valued at $3,315.

In order to qualify for the scholarship, the candidates submitted an essay detailing what value they would receive by attending NACHA’s TPI. The essays were voted on by the Education Chair of PacPay and the WACHA team. We are happy to announce this year’s winner is Celine Smale.

Mary Gilmeister, President of WACHA states, “We believe in high quality education and are happy to offer scholarships to those individuals who want to grow their knowledge in the payments landscape. We encourage more individuals to submit essays for next year.”

PacPay, the Federal Reserve Bank and WACHA will also be hosting Payments University in Oahu with a variety nationally known speakers and similar course offerings to TPI. This year’s event will be held November 6th and 7th. We are also pleased to be adding a new event, Fraud Day on November 5th.
