APRP Certification Propels Your Business & Career Forward

Becoming an APRP will help you to advance both your financial institution as well as your career. Having an APRP employee shows examiners that your Financial Institution is committed to risk management and regulatory compliance. As an APRP, you can rest assured that you will rise above the rest by exemplifying that you are committed to your payments-related profession and helping your employer remediate risk.

NACHA announced the new Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) Certification in late 2017, and the first exam window was March 5 to 17, 2018. The certification esteems itself to identify those individuals who are competent in risk across payment channels at an enterprise level. Participation was limited to 225 participants for 2018, and there was "an overwhelming positive response from the payments industry" (NACHA.org). Be sure to register early for the 2019 APRP exam and training sessions.

Exam Dates: July 2019; Registration opens in the summer of 2018

The 2018 exam covered the following areas:

  • Fundamentals of Payments Risk Management
